It is the last Friday Favorite of January! This month has gone by quickly. Today I want to share one of my new-found favorite snacks with you and if you are a low-carber you will love them too!
Introducing Whisps –
First of all “Whisps” is just a fun word to say. They are a great substitute for chips (my downfall), croutons, cracker, or really any crunchy carb filled food. I try really hard to life a low carb lifestyle since I am a type 1 diabetic, although sometimes I fail miserably. You will notice on the bag that these little guys are also Gluten and Wheat free, so they are acceptable on many diet plans. I currently purchase my Whisps at Wal-Mart, but in the event they ever stop carrying them I have already checked and there are multiple websites that they can be purchased from including Amazon. As I mentioned before chips are one of my favorite (bad) snack foods, in an attempt to replace chips I tried Whisps with this Greek yogurt based spinach dip, also from Wal-Mart and it is very tasty combo.
Living a low carb lifestyle can be tough, the basis of it is meat, eggs, and dairy products, so I get very excited when I find a product like this that tastes good and is affordable.
